About Birch & Fern

Hello! My name is Kate and I am the owner, creator and maker of Birch & Fern. This small company was born out of my love for nature and the peace, joy and healing it provides. Having a respectful relationship with the Earth is very important and I only use ingredients that are certified organic, wild foraged or from local farmers that use natural, sustainable practices. I also strive to decrease waste by focusing on reusable or compostable packaging. Creating, being in my garden, yoga, traveling and getting lost in the woods are my loves. When I am not creating, I work as a nurse. All my products are made with love and care in Michigan.
